INTERPRETASI DIRI SEORANG FEMALE DISK JOCKEY DI NEOPC CLUB AND LOUNGE PALEMBANG

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how self-interpretation  of a female disk  jockey. The research method used is qualitative. The object of this study is the self interpretation   of a female disk jockey at NEOPC Club and Lounge Palembang. The subjects in this study who acted as a source of information were two women who became female disk jockeys, Head disk jockeys, and a visitor at NEOPC Club and Lounge Palembang. Data  collection  techniques  obtained through interview data, observation data, and documentation data. Data analysis techniques using descriptive qualitative methods. The results of this study can be concluded that female disk jockeys interpret themselves when performing on stage with  their performances and  the songs they play. They give a good impression to visitors, from the way they interact with visitors, other employees, to other fellow disk jockeys. All about themselves  will  be  an  assessment for visitors who watch their performance. Researchers also see other things behind the performance on the stage how the female disk jockey interacts with their environment that is different from where they work.
