There are many responsibilities that must be carried out as individuals with the sandwich generation. The various problems faced certainly have an influence on the resilience of someone with the sandwich generation. To be a resilient individual certainly cannot be separated from the influence of a positive self-concept so that individuals in the sandwich generation are able to overcome every problem they experience. This research aims to determine the relationship between self-concept and resilience in individuals classified as the sandwich generation. The method used is quantitative with a correlational design. Participants in this research were 149 individuals from the sandwich generation. Research measurements used the Structure of the Personal Self-Concept (α = 0.879) and the Adiult Resilience Scale (α = 0.921). The analysis method uses the Sperm Rho correlation test. The research results show that there is a significant positive relationship between self-concept and resilience in individuals classified as the sandwich generation (r = 0.477) and sig. = 0.001. In this way, it is hoped that individuals who are classified as the sandwich generation can maintain a positive self-concept so that they remain resilient individuals in carrying out their role as a sandwich generation.
2024-07-24T00:00:00+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://journal.binadarma.ac.id/index.php/jurnalpsyche/article/view/3189Resiliensi Mahasiswa Ditinjau dari Efikasi Diri dan Dukungan Sosial Pada Kegiatan Program Magang MSIB2024-08-09T02:53:32+00:00Dzakirahsalwa Az-Zahradzasalwaazz@gmail.comSahat Saragihsahat@untag-sby.ac.idRr. Therefore, a form of tenacity is needed so for students to able to adapt and bounce back when facing difficulties, so that the internship program can run well and be completed on time. This ability is called resilience. Resilience can be increased by students' belief that they are able to overcome difficulties, commonly called as self-efficacy, and accompanied by social support from the people closest to them. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and social support and resilience in students participating in the MSIB internship program. This quantitative research chose students who participated in the MSIB internship program in the “Ruang Belajar Aqil” batch 2-5 as the research subjects. The sampling technique uses incidental sampling technique. In this research, there were 258 participants. The measuring instruments used were The Resilience Scale Wagnild and Young (1987), the Self-Efficacy Scale, and The Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS) compiled by Zimet et al (1998). The data analysis technique in this research uses multiple linear analysis techniques with the help of the IBM SPSS Statistics version 23 program. Based on the correlation test, a score of R = 0.653 was obtained with a significance of p = 0.000 (p < 0.01), meaning that there was a significant positive relationship between self-efficacy, social support and resilience in students who participated in the MSIB internship program.
2024-07-24T00:00:00+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://journal.binadarma.ac.id/index.php/jurnalpsyche/article/view/3190Stress Academic Dalam Mengerjakan Tugas Akhir Pada Mahasiswa Perantau: Adakah Pengaruh Self Efficacy Terhadap Stress academic ?2024-08-09T02:53:36+00:00Yosi Harsa Apriliayosiharsa840@gmail.comMeilia Isharmeilia.ishar@gmail.comTansri Adzlan Syahtansri.adzlan@gmail.com
Academic stress is an individual’s perception of stressors originating from academics and seeing how the individual reacts consisting of physical, behavioral, cognitive and emotional reactions (Gadzella & Masten, 2005). Various factors cause academic stress in students including pressure, conflict, frustration, coercion, and change. This research aims to determine the effect of self efficacy on academic stress in completing final assignments among migrant students at state university (PTN) X in Lampung. The population in this study were students working on final assignments or theses, who came from outside Lampung or from West Sumatra who were residing or studying in Lampung (migrant) totaling 189 students. This research is a quantitative research with a samplingtechnique of 65 students. Data collection techniques use self efficacy and academic stress scales. The data analysis technique used in this research uses statistical methods with the help of IBM SPSS Statistics 25 software. The research results show r=0,669 with p0,000, which means there is a positive and significant relationship between self efficacy and academic stress. Self-efficacy makes an effective contribution of 44,8% to academic stress. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that there is a significant positive influence between self efficacy and academic stress in overseas students who are working on their final assignments at State University (PTN) X in Lampung. This means that the higher the self efficacy, the lower the academic stress behavior, and conversely the lower the self efficacy, the higher the academic stress behavior in overseas students who are working on their final assignments. The effective contribution of the self-efficacy variable is 44,8% to academic stress and the rest is influenced by variables outside this research.
2024-07-24T00:00:00+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://journal.binadarma.ac.id/index.php/jurnalpsyche/article/view/3191Psychological Well-Being Pada Mahasiswa Rantau: Adakah Pengaruh Dari Dukungan Sosial dan Penyesuaian Diri?2024-08-09T02:53:40+00:00Afrisa Evilianiafrisapajaba@gmail.comAny Nurhayatyany.nurhayaty@uml.ac.idTansri Adzlan Syahtansri.adzlansyah@uml.ac.id
Psychological well-being is a condition where individuals feel their life is meaningful when they are able to demonstrate and gain personal self-acceptance, control over the environment, have convincing interpersonal relationships, personal growth and autonomy, several factors that can influence psychological well-being. Welfare can lead to social service support provided by someone with good adjustment. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of social support and adjustment on the psychological well-being of overseas students. The instruments used in this research were the Ryff's Scale of Psychological Well-Being (RSPWB) developed by Ryff, the Social Provision Scale by Cutrona, C.E and Russel as a social support scale, and a self-adjustment scale compiled based on six aspects based on opinions from Schneiders as many as 30 items. Data analysis techniques are used to test the hypothesis and correlation with the help of SPSS version 25 data processing. The results of the research suddenly show a correlation that leads to social support and self-adjustment which is associated with the psychological well-being of overseas students, recorded with a correlation coefficient of 0.692 and a significance score of 0.000 (p > 0.05). The research method applied is descriptive quantitative method using survey method by looking at the frequency of respondents' answers and cross-tabulating with several categories of response answers. The approach used in this research is indigenous psychology. The research sample consisted of 200 employees. Data collection was conducted through purposive sampling technique using questions in a questionnaire developed by Kim (2009) Center For Indege- nous & Cultural Psychology (CCIP) Faculty of Psychology UGM and modified by the author according to research needs. The results showed that there are five factors that make a person happy at work, namely (1) positive relationships with others (2) achievement at work (3) work environment both physical and non-physical (4) compensation (5) the work factor itself. The positive relationship factor with others occupies the largest percentage of the other four factors. Furthermore, the results of the analysis based on sociodemographic reviews show that there is no difference between marital status and factors that affect happiness at work. Furthermore, there is no difference between employment status and factors affecting happiness at work. Based on the last level of education, there are variations in the results obtained. Based on gender, there are differences in the dominant factors affecting happiness at work
2024-07-24T00:00:00+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://journal.binadarma.ac.id/index.php/jurnalpsyche/article/view/3194Analisa Perilaku Altruisme Dengan Bystander Effect Dan Konformitas Teman Sebaya Mahasiswa Universitas Bina Darma2024-08-09T02:53:49+00:00Mutia Mawardahmutia_mawardah@binadarma.ac.idDirga Razzakrazzak_dirga@yahoo.co.id
This study aims to determine the relationship between the Bystander-effect and peer conformity with altruistic behavior in students at Bina Darma University in Palembang.
