Abstract

This essay is titled “Signification of Anarchism In Online News Media (Analysis of Discourse On A Reporting The Protesters In March 2015 In Online Daily News www.antaranews.com)”. The objective of the research is to find out the signification of anarchism in online news media on protesters action. This research using van Dijk discourse analysis with a qualitative method accumulating the data using document research through books, interview, article, zine and internet. The interview done with Zainal Piliang, pensionarry of Sriwijaya Post journalist who work as a journalist for about 28 years. After the interview wan done, the result is translated as a secondary data in this research. Based on this research, author founded one news on March that mention anarchism within the protesters. The news can be conluded as the signification of anarchism in online news media antaranews.com have an misunderstanding and abuse in interpreting the word anarchism correspond to linguistics study of philosophy, social, economy and politics.
